MUDA Xinglong Lake CITIC Bookstore won the 2020 WAF·China Finalist Award

2020 WAF·China Awarding Ceremony was held on December 1, 2020 in Niccolo Chengdu. The award list including 9 Special Jury Awards, 27 Finalist Awards, 5 Best Popular Projects, was announced at the ceremony.

"Xinglong Lake CITIC Bookstore" designed by MUDA-Architects, was awarded with the "2020WAF·China Finalist Award" and automatically shortlisted for the main WAF/INSIDE awards in Lisbon next June. Mr Lu., the Founding Partner and the Principal Architect of MUDA-Architects, presented at the ceremony and gala night. 

WAF China 2020 was arranged with "Online Judging", "Forum & Interaction" and "Award Ceremony", which combined live streaming and on-site events worldwide simultaneously. The "Online Judging" was organized from November 17 to 19 by inviting hundreds of designers and more than 40 judges from more than 20 countries and regions to gather together monline without the limit of time and places. About 300 excellent design works were introduced by their designers to share the inspirations and ideas behind the design. "WAF China is the exclusive authorized brand of WAF in Mainland China and HongKong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, including WAF China and INSIDE China. Hailed as the Academy Awards in the architecture industry, the World Architecture Festival (WAF) is one of the largest and most prestigious international architectural awards ceremonies.” It has been sponsored by EMAP as an annual festival to choose and highlight outstanding projects for various categories by an international judging panel. Meetings, forums, exhibitions and other activities also have been held to provide a professional and diversified platform to inspiring designers around the world. The 13th WAF would be held in Lisbon next summer.
