Recently, MUDA's "Sky Office" project was shortlisted by the ELLE DECORATION 2021 CHINA Interior Design Awards. Mr. Lu Yun, MUDA founding partner and principal architect, was invited to participate in the ELLE DECORATION annual design gala and in the launch ceremony of the China Interior Design Annual.
ELLE DECORATION CHINA Interior Design Awards, first launched in 2018, aims to present the most shareable works of China with the most authoritative perspective, to document the maturation of the Chinese interior design industry on paper and to explore the spatial aesthetics of the Chinese through the discovery of emerging design efforts.
The award has invited Tony Chi, Kengo Kuma, Yabu Pushelberg, Peter Zec, Neri Hu, Kenya Hara, Alan Chan, Steve Leung, GamFratesi, Kelly Wearstler, Roberto Palomba, André Fu, Gong Shuzhang and Zheng Zhong as judges or special advisors to select the 100 most noteworthy works of the year with an insightful view of the industry.
The best projects of the year in the 2021 edition of this award include Jean Nouvel and Neri&Hu; and the Interior Design Award goes to Studio Zhu-Pei, etc.
“MUDA Sky Office" was designed from March to May 2021 and came into use in July of the same year. The project has already won the GOLD award in the NEW YORK DESIGN AWARDS for the interior design - international corporate category.

Thespatial design of MUDA new office was aimed to reconsider and build up theambiguity of the space in physical form, from the contemporary aspects ofopenness, comfortability and intellectualization.
